Functional Health + Nutrition for Midlife Women

About Hive Wellness

Hive Wellness was created for women navigating the seasons of change that come
with perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, and navigating fertility. It is a functional nutrition and integrative wellness practice grounded in real education,
real data, and real partnership with the women Kelly is passionate about helping through each of these phases.

Led by Kelly Hyde, MS, CNS, Hive Wellness is built around a whole-body approach
that looks at nutrition, hormones, gut, nervous system, sleep, and lifestyle together, not in isolation. Kelly works with women virtually all over the United States, with an
in-person option for those local to her practice in New Braunfels, Texas.

Who I Work With

Personalized care for every season of change.

Kelly works with women across the full arc of hormonal and reproductive change. From women in their 30s and early 40s optimizing their health for fertility, to women moving through perimenopause and menopause, to women in postmenopause looking to feel strong and steady in the years ahead. Each woman's body, history, and life is different, which is why no two plans are the same.

The women who come to Kelly are often experiencing changes they cannot fully explain. They have been told everything looks "normal," or that what they are feeling is "just part of aging." They have tried different diets, different supplements, and different providers, and nothing has helped them understand how everything connects. They are ready for someone who will look at the full picture and stay with them through it.

Fertility Optimization

For women in their 30s and early 40s who are trying to get pregnant and want to optimize their nutrition, hormones, gut, and lifestyle for the best possible chance of conception and a healthy pregnancy.

This is a time when many women feel urgency around their bodies, their timeline, and the quality of the choices they are making. Kelly works alongside her clients to bring clarity, calm, and real data into this window of life, so they can move forward with a plan they trust.

Perimenopause and Menopause

For women experiencing the shifts in energy, sleep, mood, weight, digestion, and hormones that come with this stage of life.

Many of these women have spent years caring for everyone else and are finally turning their attention to themselves. Kelly helps them understand what is happening in their body, what their lab data is showing, and what to actually do about it, with a personalized plan that fits the life they are already living.

Postmenopause and Beyond

For women on the other side of menopause who want to feel strong, steady, and supported in the years ahead.

The focus here is long-term metabolic health, bone density, energy, cognitive vitality, and the kind of whole-body care that compounds over time. Kelly partners with women in this season to optimize for longevity, not just symptom relief.

Kelly's Approach

How Kelly Looks at Your Health

The way Kelly works comes from a simple belief. Your body is not a list of separate systems. It is one connected whole, and what is happening in your hormones is connected to what is happening in your gut, your sleep, your nervous system, and your daily life. Most appointments in our healthcare system are not built to look at it that way. Kelly's work is.

Kelly uses functional lab testing across hormones, gut health, micronutrients, and metabolic markers to take the guesswork out of what is actually happening in your body. She combines that data with a full intake of your nutrition, lifestyle, stress and nervous system, sleep, and emotional patterns so she can see how everything is connected. From there, she builds a personalized plan rooted in functional nutrition, whole-body health, and the "test, not guess" philosophy that anchors her practice.

What women experience in Kelly's care is something different than they have found elsewhere. They are not rushed. They are not handed a generic plan. They are listened to, taken seriously, and partnered with through a process that adjusts as they do. Kelly's role is not to fix you. It is to help you understand your body, so the choices you make from here are grounded in real information and real trust.

Meet Your Nutrition + Wellness Guide

Kelly Hyde, MS, CNS

Kelly Hyde, MS, CNS, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist® and the founder of Hive Wellness. She holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition. She is also a Certified Trauma Professional, with additional training in functional lab testing across hormones, gut, and micronutrients, and a background in culinary training from Escoffier.

Kelly's work is grounded in science, and her clients return for the way she listens. She does not rush. She makes women feel comfortable enough to share what is really going on, and she pays attention to the details that matter. She does not give the same plan to everyone, because she does not believe two women's bodies, histories, or lives are ever the same. Her approach is built on real education, real data, and real care for the women she works with.

Kelly is also a woman in midlife herself, walking through many of the same shifts her clients are navigating. When a woman says "I just don't feel like myself anymore," Kelly knows exactly what that means. She has lived through her own seasons of change, including raising four children, navigating her own health, and learning how to advocate for what her body actually needs. That lived experience is part of why her clients feel safe with her. She is not speaking from theory. She is speaking from her own life, and from the bodies of the hundreds of women she has worked with.

Beyond her clinical practice, Kelly is continuing her education through her doctoral program and is committed to staying current on the science of women's health, longevity, and functional medicine. She believes the women she works with deserve a practitioner who is constantly deepening, not standing still. The future of Hive Wellness is built on that same commitment, a practice that grows alongside the women Kelly is here to support.
